Hot Water & Steam
Hot Water / Glycol Systems
Hot water systems can range from a small electric hot water heater for single sink or washroom to large natural gas systems for whole facility systems.
If used for preheating of outside air, where there is a possibility of freezing, we recommend glycol, or coils with freeze protection capabilities.
Steam Systems
Steam systems offer larger capacities with smaller piping, and can be used for humidification.
Clean Steam Systems
Clean Steam systems can be used for pharmaceutical applications, to humidify and clean and sanitize process equipment and piping.
Compressed Air
Compressed Air systems are one of the most common utilities in Cleanrooms.
Air compressors and associated refrigerated or Desiccant Dryer systems to provide “dry” Air.
Compressor Styles vary with Capacity, Volume Required, and Storage Capacity.
PIPING SYSTEMS
Piping systems for compressed air can be from many available materials:
- Black Iron Pipe
- Galvanized Pipe
- Copper Pipe
- Stainless Steel
- KiTec
Compressed Gases
Cleanrooms use a variety of Process Compressed gases.
The requirements will be defined by an analysis of the individual process equipment matrix.
We can help you understand the various systems available, and choose the best solution for your project.
Vacuum Systems
Vacuum systems can be used for process and for cleaning systems.
Process Vacuum Systems
Process systems are a designed the quantity and vacuum pressure. The layout and sizing is designed from the equipment Matrix.
Vacuum Cleaning Systems
We recommend a central vacuum system for the cleaning of the Cleanroom where possible.
Portable HEPA Vacuum systems are available, however the particle sizes being measured is a Cleanroom are smaller than can be observed by the human eye. If the HEPA Filter is not installed correctly, you may be contaminating the space, unknowingly.
We recommend that a tool kit be available for every Cleanzone to reduce cross contamination.

Cooling Towers
On large process systems, where water cooled by ambient conditions can be used, a cooling tower is a very economical method of providing this cooling.
They are also used on large tonnage chiller systems, to provide the condensing medium.
