Outdoor Air can reach a summer peak of 135 Grains of Moisture / Pound of Air.
At normal comfort temperature conditions, and careful evaporator coil selection, dehumidification to the low 40% range (45 Grains of Moisture / Pound of Air) can be accomplished with refrigeration equipment.
Below this range we utilize desiccant technology. It is capable of providing humidity levels of less than 1 Grain of Moisture / Pound of Air.
When we discuss “Relative Humidity” the realtionship is with the grains of moisture in the air, and the temperature of the air.
